Biography

Heather Corcoran of WilmingtonNC- music.com calls Jakes songwriting inspirational music to please any listener. He is excited to release Reaching Out, his new EP project of acoustic pop/rock tunes written in the past year. A college senior and avid singer/songwriter, Jakes performing exploded three years ago when he began to play several live shows throughout North Carolina. The new EP reflects his experiences of college life and welcomes a heightened level of crisp, honest songwriting. 

Jake travels throughout the region several times a year playing shows and loves to connect with friends and strangers alike through his music. Often present in the local music circuit of Wilmington, he plays at coffee shops and bars, on campus events, as well as local and regional festivals. Jake also embraces a spiritual side by working as a camp counselor and youth musician during the summers.
